My room was clean with great water pressure. It was well-equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. The comfortable beds and adequate heat made my stay enjoyable during a cold November night.

A great last-minute find

Staying at the Harbor Base Inn turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The clean room and working AC made my stay enjoyable despite initial doubts.

However, the exterior appeared a bit worn, and the reception area lacked charm. It gave off a 'meh' first impression that I struggled to shake off.

I loved the cozy vibe of my room-it was spotlessly clean and so comfortable for a relaxing night. The water pressure in the shower was divine Plus, being just a short distance from downtown meant easy access to all the fun without the congestion!

We loved visiting the International Tennis Hall of Fame and relaxing at the local beaches. The room was clean, and we enjoyed the available cable programming for downtime. Great location too, with lots to do nearby. Perfect spot for budget travelers!

Only downside was the unreliable WiFi, which made it frustrating to connect online.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room. The new vinyl flooring gave it a fresh feel that I appreciated greatly. Having dedicated parking made my stay much easier, especially during busy hours.

It was just a nice choice for strolling in Newport with fantastic value for money. The room had fairly comfortable beds, and we enjoyed a decent bathroom. Try to visit on a weekday for better rates.

Clean spacious rooms and a friendly staff are the bright spots here. The location is fantastic, but be ready for some quirks – our shower’s hot water was impressive, and windows that opened made for fresh air, but missing essentials like cups and a hairdryer slightly detracted. Could easily become a hidden gem with a bit more attention!

The location's a gem! We hit up Carmella's Pizzeria for some of the best slices around – it’s a must-try. Plus, the staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home during our stay. Great price for the area too!

The room had a stale mothball smell, and unfortunately, there were stains on the sheets. Not to mention, we found an empty pizza box left in front of our room the entire time. The 'Hourly Rates available' sign made for some eyebrow-raising moments!

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the comfy bed and the clean room that made for a restful night. There’s a nice outdoor space to unwind and a small pool for some relaxation. One minor hiccup was the outdated furniture, but overall, it was a great spot for a budget-friendly getaway! 😊

I had a clean and spacious room, the staff was cute and kind, really made the stay better. We encountered a small issue with the shower but they jumped right on it, fixed it quick and were super professional about it.
